Aw Shi Qin
Associate
Ms. Aw Shi Qin completed her LLB (Hons) with First Class Honours from the Northern University of Malaysia. After the completion of her pupilage under Mr. Foo Hiap Siong, William, she was then admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor at the High Court of Malaya in September 2021.
Throughout her pupillage, she was given the privilege to assist in an array of contentious matters including divorce proceedings, tenancy disputes, defamation action and debt recovery. Shi Qin also has experience in handling commercial litigation including companies or corporate disputes involving shareholders and directors.
In addition, she has been exposed to practice in conveyancing related matters, ranging from developer’s cases to sub-sale. Her work also comprises advisory work on intellectual property and various matters involving intellectual property law.
Ng Wei Kiat, Jack

Jack Ng Wei Kiat, being one of the pillars of the firm, he handles both of the firm’s operation and administration process. His IT mindset and white hat skills have supported the firm’s contentious litigation process. Since the legal profession is now heavily reliant on Information Technology, he ensures the mobility of lawyers as they are able to work anywhere they desire. Cheong Yin Mui, Agnes
Finance and Account, Branding and Marketing Manager
Agnes Cheong, the firm’s finance manager, her passion in design and marketing had lead a series of charitable event organized by the firm since year 2015. The firm has participated numerous charitable events to enhance the contributions in a series of CSR projects.
Apart from daily operation on the finance and accounts, she overseas the finance department and a group of account and audit personnel to ensure compliance policies of the firm are strictly adhered to. Apart from the firm’s compliance department, her leadership in her finance and account department had innovated the firm’s operation infrastructure and marketing efforts. Siow Yoong Kei
Associate, High Court of Malaya
She graduated from the University of London (External) in 2018 and obtained the Certificate of Legal Practice in 2019. She then commenced her pupillage at Messrs Foo Hiap Siong & Co in March 2020 and was enrolled as an Advocates and Solicitors of the High Court of Malaya in April 2021.
She was then retained as an Associate upon the completion of her pupillage due to her outstanding performance. She further believes that her legal skills will be further developed and enhanced at Messrs Foo Hiap Siong & Co, thus allowing her to contribute her knowledge and skills towards her career enhancement.
She has considerable experience in a wide array of litigation works including General Civil Litigation, Debt Recovery, Probate and Administration of Estate, and Employment Law. In addition, she is experienced in representing and providing legal advice to clients regarding the sale and purchase of properties, partnership disputes, construction and contract disputes, bankruptcy proceedings, and employment disputes. She also assisted with several commercial arbitration disputes at the Asian International Arbitration Centre and Construction litigation.
Kiong Sze Min, Bernard
Associate, High Court of Malaya
He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from University of London and obtained his Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) in year 2018. He was then admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor at the High Court of Malaya in 2020.
Presently, Bernard Kiong is attached to general litigation department. He mainly focuses on civil disputes including general debt recovery, matrimonial disputes and construction disputes. Besides, he frequently engages in non-contentious matters such as advisory works and drafting agreements. He is currently based in dispute resolution practice group of the firm leads by Mr. Foo Hiap Siong.
Outside of legal practice, he is a fitness enthusiast. He enjoys running, hiking and soccer. Through sports and fitness, he believes that one’s mind is conditioned to develop a positive growth mind-set and possess immense thirst for success.
Goh Chiau Wee, Priscilla
Senior Associate, High Court of Malaya
Ms. Goh Chiau Wee, Priscilla graduated from the University of Liverpool, the United Kingdom in 2015 with a Bachelor of Laws LL.B (Hons) Second Upper. She then completed her pupillage under the guidance of Mr. Foo Hiap Siong, William and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in March, 2018.
She then continued her practice in Foo Hiap Siong & Co and was assigned to conduct and handle appellate matters in High Court, Court of Appeal and Federal Court under the supervision of Mr. Foo Hiap Siong. She has great analytical skills and strong English literature. Hence, general litigation would be her forte in practice. The class of clients under her care would be the prestigious and extra-ordinary. Hence, she had the privilege of handling a diverse clientele on a broad spectrum of issues pertaining to debt recovery, injunctions, contract disputes, defamation actions, and other general civil and commercial litigation. She has also appeared on behalf of individuals on land disputes involving unlawful land encroachments and strata management issues.
At the same time, she also has extensive knowledge and experience in handling Judicial Review litigation to challenge and overturn a decision where government and public bodies have failed to comply with its legal obligations.
With strategic thinking and a sensitive approach to resolving disputes, she is proficient in acting within tight timescales by quickly identify the core issues and gain an insight into clients’ key concerns so as to deliver clear, focused and commercially driven advice.
She has successfully represented 297 similarly situated individuals to initiate class action lawsuits in pursuing claims against the developer which have cause harm through the developer’s negligent and wrongful acts. She also has extensive experience handling matters appellate matters to the Court of Appeal.
She believes there is no greater challenge and intellectual reward than pursuing Law as her chosen field of study. The practical skills and versatility in critically engaging with a breath of texts and issues would undoubtedly present many exciting opportunities in the future particularly to cater for the specific needs and expectations of a diverse clientele. She is currently assigned as an Associate in assisting counsel in the litigation department.
Chua Chia Ying, Pinko

Ms. Chua Chia Ying, Pinko is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Civil Litigation Department. She graduated with a LL.B (Hons) from Multimedia University (MMU). She embarked on her pupillage by reading in the chamber of Mr. Ting Kong Hock of Messrs Othman Hashim & Co, where she gained extensive legal exposure particularly in the field of General Litigation and Commercial Litigation. Thereafter she was retained as an Associate after being admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in June 2016.
Ms. Chua took a leap of faith and joined Messrs Foo Hiap Siong & Co in 2017. Over the years, Ms. Chua has acquired vast knowledge and experience and she handles a wide array of civil litigation matters. Ms. Chua regularly advises and represents various individual clients and body of corporates in a wide area of dispute resolution and that includes matters relating to commercial and contractual disputes, complex shareholders’ disputes, directorial disputes and misconducts, defamation actions, trust disputes and property related claims.
Ms. Chua is a strong believer of “Law of Attraction” – be the energy you want to attract. She believes that a positive attitude will go a long way in determining your success, your recognition and your enjoyment of being a lawyer.

William Foo graduated from the University of London, (Hons) external. He was admitted to the Bar in year 2007.
The existence of a strategist is of paramount importance to win any warfare. Mr. William Foo has gained his experience through a very unorthodox and premium league of the Legal Profession. With his unorthodox mindset and his war strategies in mind together with his risk management background, he assisted many corporate entities and high-ranking individuals be it in the corporate world or associations to plan for their wealth and interest.
